FESTIVAL OF HISTORY: KELMARSH HALL, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE: 2010

Grid Ref: SP 735 795
Dates: 17 July 2010

English Heritage organised its Festival of History every July at Kelmarsh Hall in Northamptonshire for several years. I show images from 2007, 2009 and 2010 on my site.Hundreds of people take part in the re-enactments of various periods of British History from Roman times to the Second World War. Here is my tribute to them in a series of candid portraits. It is unfortunate that English Heritage has decided that it should be discontinued because of cost. One of the best days out you could imagine if you are interested in history, hence our repeated visits
